*** NEW **** appointment reminders by text
The Surgery is now able to text you a reminder of your forthcoming appointment.
Please ensure your contact details are up to date to ensure you receive these reminders. You can send us your current details using the contact us page .
Parents/carers – you will only receive reminders of your children’s appointments if your mobile number is recorded on your child’s medical record.
Over 16s – is your Mum/Dad’s mobile number recorded on your record? Make sure we have your own number if you wish to receive reminders personally.
Please note there is no facility to text us back – so please call us on 020 8398 8619 as usual if you need to speak to us.
Reception desk is open from 8.00am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday. Reception telephone is available 8:00am to to 6.30pm.
We are not open on Saturdays and Sundays.
Please note; not all Doctors are available at all times listed.
There are two types of Doctor appointments. Routine and On The Day
Please see the Doctors Appointments page for full details
There are nurse appointments every weekday. These are bookable in advance. See our Nurse Appointments page.
Appointments are normally booked for 10 minutes duration. Some consultations/procedures take longer than 10 minutes e.g. Post-Natal examination, IUCD fitting Dressings, Immunisations. The Doctor/Nurse will advise you if you are to make a longer appointment. Our Receptionist may ask you the nature of your appointment to ensure the correct appointment duration is booked. Please do not present a list of problems to the Doctor that will obviously take longer than one appointment.
If, for reasons of ill-health you cannot attend the surgery, you may request that the doctor visit you at home. Please give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to prioritise calls and, if possible, ring your request in before 11.00 a.m. Please remember that home visits are very time consuming for the doctors and attendance at the surgery is much preferred. Doctors are not obliged to make a home visit unless the condition of the patient dictates that it is indicated.
Not all problems require a face to face consultation. All doctors and nurses are available to give advice. The receptionist will be happy to take your contact details to enable us to telephone you. This may save you having to attend for an appointment.
