To get advice and keep your baby healthy we advise you attend the baby clinics and have all recommended immunisations.
Baby clinics are an ideal place to meet other Mums!
Baby Clinics and Child Health Surveillance
Walk-In/Weighing Baby Clinics
The baby clinic for Thames Ditton is held on Wednesday morning from 9.30am to 11.15am.
These clinics are at Emberbrook and are run by Central Surrey Health staff - Health Visitor and Nursery Nurse. No doctor is present in the clinic.
Child Health Surveillance
Eight week baby checks and other child development assessments are performed by Dr Kenyon and Dr McCamphill-Rose. These clinics run on Wednesday mornings and Thursday afternoons by appointment. When you register your new baby with the Practice we advise you book the 8 week check and immunisation appointments.
We coordinate the development checks with the Health Visitors who record the weight and length of babies in the red book. This clinic is only by appointment.
Baby Immunisations
Baby immunisations are normally done by our nurse Sue Millroy on Wednesday mornings from 10.30 to 12.30 and Thursday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm. See schedule
We find this a convenient time as it coincides with the walk in baby clinic run by the Health Visitors and developmental checks. You are free to book at other times for maximum flexibility but please inform the receptionist that the appointment is for baby immunisation.
